California DISCLOSE Act
The Occupy Democracy working group and Occupy Petaluma support the California DISCLOSE Act, AB1648. This bill is currently making its way through the state legislature. It would fight back against unlimited hidden spending on campaigns by letting voters know who really is paying for political ads– on the ads themselves. The DISCLOSE act has many foes but continues to re-emerge with ever stronger support. Please sign their online petition at the above link.
